8 x 10 soft pastel "Loons"

Just finished this painting of a loon being reflected in a pond. I did this on velour paper, which is quite a challenge with a landscape. I don't know if I would do this again. I guess this is a lesson learned.

5 x 7 pastel "Wee Willie"

Just finished this portrait of my parents himalayan cat, Willie. He always has a very cranky look about him (as a lot of himalayans do) but they love him anyway. It is done on soft velour with mostly hard pastels.

5 x 7 pastel "Crystal"

This is a portrait of my late cat Crystal who passed away several years ago. She was the most beautiful blue point Himalayan and I loved her dearly. I found this picture and thought I would give it a try as my dog Harley turned out pretty good yesterday. She is done in pastels on velour paper.

Soft pastel 10 x11 Against the Sea
